As a little girl, Mindy’s home was my favorite. She lived alone. She was the only adult women I knew with a pink bathroom complete with a fluffy pink rug and a huge bottle of pink bubble bath. She grew huge sunflowers in her garden, had a fancy fat white cat named Clancy and used a clothesline for all of her laundry. When she came for a visit, she always brought angel food cake.
